Wooden panels make the room cozy and great for a relaxation room. However, they have one drawback - if over time you get bored looking at the same walls, then you can do little without major repairs. But there is one idea!

Wall wood panels will be able to block the usual wallpaper. With their help, you can give the room a new shine.

Choosing the Right Wallpaper

Buy dense wallpapers. Your local hardware store probably sells products made specifically for this purpose. For example, non-woven wallpaper is much denser than usual and has a textured surface, with which you can hide the panel seams. They can also be impregnated with special glue. They will perfectly lie on a wooden surface in a house made of timber.

Cooking panels

Continue to prepare the panels for gluing. Carefully remove the skirting boards so that after gluing the wallpaper they can be replaced. Ventilation grilles and electrical outlets should be removed. Some people prefer to align the panel seams with putty, but this is not necessary if you have purchased suitable wallpaper.

Now you need to coat the panels with a primer. It can be bought at any hardware store at a low price.

How to glue?

First, gently wet the wallpaper with glue so that they are slightly saturated. Glue should not drip from a brush or roller. There are special containers and bathtubs that provide an optimal intake of glue. On some types of wallpaper you can apply glue using a spray bottle or a damp sponge. Wallpaper begins to be glued from the ceiling to the floor. All the time you need to smooth the wallpaper with a dry brush, towel or rag, which will prevent the formation of bulges and bubbles. Bubbles are driven from the center to the edge with careful movements so as not to damage the canvas. In the same spirit, it is worth sticking the remaining strips, aligning them in the first. If at the junction of the corners it is not possible to fit the wallpaper under a straight line, you can glue them with an overlap. This is much better than leaving a crack or sticking it with pieces of the remaining scraps.

Step # 1: choosing

Selectable canvases should be:

  • Dense. Preference should be given to products on a non-woven basis. Although their price is higher, they will last longer and better,

Due to its high density, non-woven fabrics will easily transfer the mobility of wooden sections

  • Textured. These better mask the gaps between the panels.

Dense textured samples do not fail at the joints, but are pulled over them and hide any irregularities underneath

I recommend buying paintings that are saturated with special glue. They are much better fixed on wooden surfaces.

You can also stick wallpaper on the lining. They are distinguished by a fairly high density, have a wear-resistant coating and are able to give a wooden wall not just a new, but simply a fantastic look.

Thanks to the murals, a simple lining can even acquire a landscape of another planet

Another interesting trick is to use wallpaper under the lining. It is convenient to use in cases where a warm soft finish of wood color suits you well in its visual qualities, but has already worn out enough, and there is not enough money to replace it fully.

Canvases can externally repeat the lining ornament

Step # 2: panel cleaning

Is it possible to glue wallpaper on wooden sections right away without any preparation? Of course not, first the foundation must be properly prepared. And you should start by cleaning it, since over the years of operation a lot of garbage has probably accumulated on it:

PhotoDescription
Eliminate do-it-yourself all the dust and cobwebs from the surface of wooden panels. To do this, use a slightly damp but very wet rag or sponge.
Grind damaged places, chips, roughness, so that the surface of the lining becomes as smooth as possible.

I do not recommend the use of cleaning products containing wax, polish or oil. They will create a layer that interferes with the quality fixation of glued canvases.

Step # 3: preparing the place

Further preparatory work instructions look like this:

  • Carefully remove the floor and ceiling filletsso that after all work is completed they can be installed back. Why spend money on new ones if you can successfully use the old ones?
  • Dismantling sockets and ventilation grilles, If there are any. Then it’s much easier to cut the corresponding hole in the canvas and set the object back than to do the application to bypass the problem areas.

Step # 4: primer

Despite the fact that wallpaper sticks well to wood, pre-primed it will not hurt. So you will reduce the absorbing properties of wood panels, so costly glue will need much less.

PhotoDescription
Bred primer, which can be bought at any specialized store.
Apply evenly lining the soil with a wide brush or roller.

Step number 5: sticking

  • We close all doors and windows. Drafts during the described process are unacceptable, they will lead to peeling of the finishing material even before the glue that has to hold it is dry,
  • Measure the height of the wall in the corner from which wallpapering will begin. The angle itself is also desirable to measure with a spirit level,
  • We measure and cut first canvas. It’s better to cut off the strip with a margin, since it’s much easier to cut it off later than to tap it with small inserts,
  • We spread glue. It’s even better to do it much earlier so that the solution has time to infuse,

It is convenient to stir glue by means of the drill installed on a small number of revolutions per minute

  • Wet in the adhesive mixture a wide brush or roller, squeeze out excess glue on the edge of the container,

I recommend using special containers with a ribbed wing for glue. It is very convenient to remove excess solution from it.

A couple of movements on the embossed surface will save the roller from excess adhesive

  • Apply glue on the wall. If you purchased wallpaper on a non-woven basis, as advised in the first paragraph, then you don’t need to process the adhesives with the adhesive,

In the case of using non-woven cloths, it will be sufficient to glue only the lining itself

  • We apply cut the strip to the top of the wall, then smooth it down and to the sides with a dry clean roller,
  • The next canvas is glued butt or slightly overlapping. The second option is less preferable, since it can form knolls at the joints, but it is, nevertheless, better than closing possible gaps formed due to uneven walls with narrow rags.
  • After applying all the paintings, cut through openings for sockets and grilles. Mount them back
  • Install fillets in their places.

Wall-paper is capable to endow a wall trimmed with lining with absolutely new and fresh appearance

Wallpapering on plywood, choose a coating material

If you look at a country house built at the dawn of the Soviet era and run your hand along the wall, you can feel the texture of high-quality multilayer plywood under the darkened paper wallpaper. And if suddenly you want to clean the walls of the old burnt coating, then make sure that even ordinary inferior paper wallpapers hold plywood tightly . Maybe it's glue? It is very doubtful, since only modern industry pampers us with a wide variety of adhesives, and before they dispensed with the usual starch blast, called a paste. So, is paper wallpaper the best? But with premature conclusions, wait a while, because you need to carefully consider gluing wallpaper on plywood.

To begin with, paper is not the most durable material, and today vinyl is much more popular. In addition, vinyl wallpapers are embossed, which remarkably masks the roughness of the joints, if you were not able to completely smooth them out. But the best option is gluing non-woven wallpaper that keeps its shape perfectly, even if the plywood deforms slightly with time. As for masking absolutely unpleasant joints, here you will be helped by reed wallpapers, the rough surface of which will perfectly hide any irregularities.

Keep in mind that wallpapering on plywood is carried out only after priming with glue, after which, after a short period of time, you can apply the canvas.

How to paste wallpaper on plywood with a guarantee of durability

Of course, it is difficult to predict in advance how plywood will behave after the wallpaper pasted on it dries, but one thing is certain - over time this product of the wood industry may well be deformed. And it’s good if this almost inevitable deformation occurs somewhere in the middle of the sheet, and even the edges can “play”, exacerbating the roughness of the joint. How to paste wallpaper on plywood in this case? It is safe to say that cullets and a composition specially designed for gluing them will provide you with a quality surface for decades. The same can be said about the metallized canvas. But, let's say, how to paste wallpaper on a wall so that forever ...

There is such a wonderful composition as liquid wallpaper. There is no need for glue for them, but the surface must be appropriate - since liquid wallpapers have water among the components, wooden surface should be sufficiently resistant to high humidity . In other words, either choose waterproof plywood (there is one), or it must be carefully fixed so that the deformation already mentioned above does not happen again. But at the end of the decorative finish, there is no need to worry about the coating, any damage to the applied composition can be repaired in two ways, it’s enough to moisten the desired area and rub the mass with a spatula, or if significant damage is done, apply a new layer.

Needless to say, plywood is good for everyone, but as the basis for wall decoration is evaluated on a solid four, it is much better to use drywall.

Wallpaper is one of the most common materials for wall decoration. They are distinguished by attractiveness, style, and gluing them does not cause any special difficulties. Wallpaper can be glued even when the general repair is completely completed, without fear that the finishing materials of the floor or ceiling will be damaged. Cloths are demanding to the base, they can only be glued to a pre-leveled surface, as their small thickness will make any wall defects perfectly visible. One option for leveling is plywood. Such material is characterized by rigidity, strength, stability, its surface is as even as possible. Is it possible to paste wallpaper on plywood? Yes, this option is sometimes used, although plywood requires preparatory work to make the wall as attractive as possible.

When performing, it must be remembered that the tree is subject to temperature and humidity expansion. Therefore, it is necessary to choose only moisture-resistant plates, during installation, provide special gaps. Wallpaper for plywood can be taken any, but their texture will affect the quality of preparation of the wall. The best option is non-woven wallpaper, which perfectly camouflages irregularities and joints. But with thin paper wallpaper you have to tinker a bit, the plywood wall should get the perfect look. Only then can work be started. Attention should also be paid to glue, which should be designed specifically for working with wooden surfaces. Before gluing, a primer is applied to the surface.

To quickly and accurately paste wallpaper on plywood, you need to prepare materials such as:

  • waterproof primer
  • putty (alkyd enamel for rough and non-waterproof plywood),
  • brushes and rollers
  • metal spatula
  • serpentine tape, perforated metal corners,
  • wallpaper glue
  • wallpaper,
  • metal ruler
  • a simple pencil
  • knife with interchangeable blades.

Sticking preparation

The scheme for gluing wallpaper on plywood sheathing is simple, but it must first be prepared. This is due to the fact that the coating has its own characteristics. It can cause the wallpaper to start to lag, warp, go bubbles.

For wall cladding, it is best to take waterproof plywood, the so-called Bakelite or American is perfect.

Such sheets are less susceptible to temperature changes than others.

In no case is low-grade plywood allowed, which has visible defects, delamination of the end part. All these disadvantages will quickly appear after wallpapering, the coating will have to be removed.

Work sequence

Before gluing the wallpaper, you need to properly prepare the surface of the walls:

  1. During the fastening of sheets, you should literally heat the screws in the wood so that the caps do not protrude above the surface. After that, all fasteners are treated with special anti-corrosion compounds, otherwise rusty spots will quickly appear on the surface of the canvas.
  2. After laying, the plywood is necessarily covered with a primer layer. The composition should contain special additives against mold. This is especially important for vinyl wallpaper.
  3. The joints between the individual plates must be repaired with putty, otherwise they will be visible through the canvas, especially paper. The same applies to any defects, including microcracks, knots, traces of nails.
  4. After the putty dries, it is necessary to grind the surface, coat with a primer again.

It is best to use non-woven wallpaper for a plywood wall. They perfectly mask various defects, since the canvas is quite thick.

How is plywood prepared? Plywood after wall sheathing has seams between individual plates and fasteners. All such joints and fixtures must be repaired, otherwise they will be clearly visible. If rough plywood was used for work, then the walls are first polished and then cleaned of dust. Then they are covered with a moisture-resistant primer, all joints and fasteners are puttied.

When the mixture is dry, it is necessary to grind the surface again so that it becomes perfectly even and smooth. If non-moisture resistant plywood was used for wall cladding, it is recommended that the wall be painted with special alkyd enamel, water can not be used. If waterproof plywood was used for work, then after drying all the mixtures, it is necessary to treat the walls with an ordinary vacuum cleaner, which will collect all the dust so that it does not interfere with the adhesion of the adhesive.

Wallpaper is a material that is often used to decorate not only walls, but also ceilings. Today, the store presents not just ordinary paper canvases with a pattern, but a variety of finishing coatings that allow you to create an unusually attractive and stylish interior. Wallpaper makes it possible to simulate the surface of fabrics, masonry, even metal and wood, stone.

Wallpapering should be slowly gluing joints when the main work on the ceiling and floor has already been completed.

To make the coating beautiful and durable, attention must be paid not only to the choice of wallpaper, but also to the condition of the walls. Often they have to be leveled with drywall, particleboard, plywood.

How to glue wallpaper on plywood correctly? There are several features here.

Is it possible to glue wallpaper on plywood?

Scheme of step-by-step instructions for wallpapering on the ceiling.

The problem is that the surface of the veneer can appear through the canvas, and not all are recommended to be used for such work. Among the main problems that may arise when decorating walls, it should be noted:

  • joints. The problem is that plywood, even from one batch, can have a slightly different thickness of sheets, when decorating walls with wallpaper this unevenness will be very noticeable. Even half a millimeter is already a lot when wallpaper is used for decoration. Using putty does not always help, after finishing you can get a curved surface. All this imposes certain requirements on the choice of material for gluing, simple paper products are absolutely not suitable for work,
  • hygroscopicity. Plywood has another property - hygroscopicity, it is easily deformed when the humidity level changes. It is only necessary to use moisture-resistant products for work, but there is no guarantee that during use the surface of the canvas will not wrinkle or stretch. To minimize such a problem, it is worth using only a material that is resistant to moisture - this is vinyl. Otherwise, even tears may occur on the surface of the finish,
  • texture. Veneered plywood is quite embossed, it easily shows through a thin canvas, as a result the appearance is not very attractive.

To avoid this, it is necessary to take embossed or textured. To solve such problems, it is necessary to carefully approach the choice of finishing material, but the choice of glue is not limited.

Какие обои подходят для фанеры?

Схема наклеивания обоев на стену.

Фанера подходит не для всех типов обоев. Carefully choose the finishing material so that problems do not arise during gluing, subsequent operation. For plywood, they are completely unsuitable:

  • No embossed paper wallpaper. If you use them, then through a thin surface all defects will immediately be visible, including joints and texture of the plates. Even putty will not help in this case,
  • too thin. When working with plywood, they easily begin to crumple, tear,
  • any material that requires an extremely flat and smooth surface. It is better to use not plywood for leveling the walls, but plasterboard, which is more suitable for gluing.

So what material can be taken for a plywood base? Preference should be given to:

  • textured, embossed materials that perfectly mask the joints between the plates, all surface irregularities,
  • vinyl wallpaper is an elastic material that perfectly protects the substrate from moisture, hides all joints of plywood,
  • non-woven for painting, which also have the necessary level of elasticity.

Step-by-step instruction: how to glue the wallpaper?

The table for eliminating defects when gluing wallpaper.

How to stick wallpaper on plywood? Instructions for sticking are available even for a beginner:

Preparatory work

Before you start wallpapering, you need to inspect the surface of the base. If the plywood was attached with a rough side, you will have to pre-process it. First, it is primed with a special composition for wood, covered with a layer of putty, and ground. If non-moisture resistant plywood was used for wall sealing, then it must be additionally painted with alkyd enamel.

How to paste wallpaper on plywood if the wall was sewn on the front side? It is enough to wipe the surface with a moistened rag, and then with a vacuum cleaner to collect all the dust that could remain. Particular attention should be paid to cracks, joints. In rooms where the humidity level is high, it is necessary to provide ventilation so that the plywood base has time to dry. Otherwise, you can’t start work, since the gluing will not be of such high quality.

Processing joints, attachment points

Before sticking wallpaper on plywood, you should process the joints between the individual boards. Do not forget about the places of fastening with nails, which are the most problematic with such wall decoration. It is necessary to prepare a putty on wood, a sickle, some experts advise using thin paper strips that glue all joints. Putty completely processes such places, nail caps should also be closed so that in the end a very smooth and beautiful surface is obtained. It is important to pay attention to nails, as over time their untreated surface will begin to rust, ugly spots will appear on the surface of the wallpaper. It is best to pre-coat them with varnish or varnish, and when plywood sheathing, drown 1 mm into the material.

Sticking wallpaper on plywood depends on what kind of material was chosen, since it may differ in some features of the preparation of rolls, applying glue, holding time. It is important to choose the right adhesive that matches the base surface of the wall and the type of material that is selected for the job. In this case, you get a high-quality and beautiful wall, and the sticking itself will not cause any problems.

How to stick wallpaper quickly? To do this, follow a simple instruction:

  • it is necessary to cut the material, spread it on the floor in a flattened state,
  • knead glue according to the manufacturer’s recommendations,
  • applying glue to the base of the wallpaper and to the wall (depends on the wallpaper chosen),
  • gluing on plywood,
  • trimming of surplus starting from the top of the wall,
  • if the plinth was not removed when gluing, then the wallpaper should be approximately 1 cm on them on a horizontal surface. It’s better to remove them before work, so that the surface is smooth and neat,
  • after the work is completed, it is necessary to leave the surface to dry, while in the room for about a day no drafts or sudden changes in temperature should be allowed.

How to paste wallpaper on plywood, now you know. Therefore, you can safely go to the store for everything you need and get to work.

Can I glue wallpaper on plywood? What pitfalls await an inexperienced builder when doing this job? How to get around them? About all this - our article.

The next stage is finishing.

How, in fact, is a plywood base different from drywall or putty concrete?

  1. Joints Due to production technology, the thickness of sheets from one batch can vary markedly. The difference in thickness of only half a millimeter will be more than noticeable.
  2. Hygroscopicity. Depending on the humidity, the linear dimensions of the sheets can vary markedly, while the wallpaper will frown or, on the contrary, stretch - until gaps appear.
  3. Texture. The surface is embossed and can be seen through a layer of paper coating.

Nuance: polished plywood of the first grade has an almost perfect surface and is completely devoid of the described problem.

Is it possible to stick wallpaper on plywood, despite the described problems?

Undoubtedly. However, the surface features will have to be considered.

Wallpaper selection

Thin paper wallpapers without embossing are very popular. Their price is more than low, any adhesive can be used for the sticker, up to flour paste.

However, for our case, they are extremely undesirable:

  • The paper will make visible all surface defects - joints and veneer texture.
  • The paper has low elasticity and can fluctuate and crease when humidity fluctuates.

So which wallpapers should you prefer? The instruction is obvious:

  • The preferred material is vinyl. Plasticized polyvinyl chloride will not only become a reliable protection against moisture: due to its elasticity, wallpaper will not tear at the joints of sheets. However, non-woven wallpaper for painting is not inferior to vinyl elasticity.
  • Embossed, textured wallpaper, unlike thin, will hide both joints and veneer bumps.

Surface preparation

It comes down to three stages:

  • Grinding. First of all, the joints of the sheets are carefully polished: even if there are differences in thickness, then in the absence of a clear border, the seams will not be evident.

Tip: a grinder will save you a lot of time and effort. Manual processing of joints will be extremely tiring, especially at a high height above the floor.

An important point: if plywood is nailed with ordinary nails, the hats should be varnished or varnished. With high humidity, rust can appear through any wallpaper.

  • Primer. Before the sticker on the wallpaper, the entire surface must be primed. A typical solution is to use wallpaper adhesive diluted with water, but any penetrating primer is suitable for an acrylic-based wooden surface.

Do I need to glue the joints with a sickle? The answer depends on the type of wallpaper:

  • If, contrary to the recommendations given above, you opted for thin paper, a sickle will somewhat reduce the likelihood of wallpaper breaks at the junction. However, be prepared for the fact that the putty streak of the sickle will stand out on a flat wall.
  • Vinyl and non-woven reinforcement do not need seams. The grid will not bring any benefit, however, harm from it, too, can not be expected.

How to stick wallpaper on plywood with your own hands? Just like on any other surface.

  • In the case of heavy dense wallpaper, it is better to glue both the wallpaper and the wall with glue. The roller, by the way, will save you a lot of time against the background of the brush.
  • Thin wallpapers are always glued in the direction from the light source (usually from the window). Otherwise, the overlays of the strips, despite the small thickness, will be striking due to the cast shadow.
  • How to paste wallpaper on plywood if you opted for vinyl or non-woven? Butt, of course, without overlapping bands.
  • When sticking, air bubbles from under the wallpaper strip are removed with a dry cloth, the glue that protrudes along the edges is removed with a sponge.
  • Get rid of drafts during drying. Wallpaper should dry at constant humidity and temperature.

The liquid wallpaper

How to glue wallpaper on plywood, we basically figured out. However, along with the usual paper or relatively new polymer wallpaper, there is another solution. Only now the hygroscopicity of veneer makes one doubt: is it possible to apply liquid wallpaper on plywood?

An attempt to apply a moist and drying mass for a rather long time on a dry birch veneer will give a predictable result - surface deformation. Plywood will begin to delaminate, wood chips may rise in some places. So this option disappears?

Nothing like this. Simply protect the veneer from moisture with a primer. Traditionally, ordinary oil paint was used for this purpose, but liquid water-based wallpapers without preliminary polishing stick to it very badly.

It is enough just to drown and putty the nails or screws, apply it in one layer and wait for it to dry.

With this small correction to the question "can liquid wallpaper be applied to plywood", a positive answer can be unequivocally given.

Wallpaper is glued onto thin piers in exactly the same way, i.e. without any complications, however, quite serious attention will have to be paid to surface preparation. In the video presented in this article, you will find additional information on this topic.

Good luck in the repair!

Wooden paneling makes the room comfortable and is especially suitable for a study. However, little can be done with the wood panel to transform the look of the room, and after a while you will get tired of the uniform look of the walls. The wooden panel can be covered with wallpaper, so start looking for wallpaper and glue at your discretion.

Buy wallpapers that go well. Your local wallpaper retailer will help you make the right choice. Such wallpapers are thicker and usually have a textured surface, which helps to hide imperfections on the panel below them. To do this, you need a special glue.

Clean the panel. Remove cobwebs and dust with a damp but not wet sponge. Do not use wax or oily cleaners and polishes. If the wooden surface is not smooth, get rid of the roughness.

Prepare the panel. Carefully remove the trim strips that you can attach back after wallpapering. But this is not necessary if you are using quality paper.

Primer wood panel. A special primer comes complete with wallpaper.

Start from the outside corner. Make sure the angle is straight. Use a normal plumb line. Measure the height of the walls. Cut the first strip of paper a little longer than necessary. Then you fit it.

Apply glue to the back of the paper. Saturate the paper with glue, but not too much. You can use a specially purchased tray or other container. For some types of wallpaper, you can use a spray bottle or a damp sponge. Attach the pieces of wallpaper with the glued side to the wall and glue them vertically from top to bottom. Smooth the wallpaper on the wall with a dry brush or towel. Do not leave a single wrinkle. With the same movements, remove air bubbles to the edges of the paper. Cut and paste the wallpaper as described above. Continue until you reach the first strip of paper. If it is not possible to dock the wallpaper perfectly evenly, then it is better to lay them on each other a bit than leave a gap between them.

Combine the pattern. Before you cut the second piece of paper, make sure that the pattern matches. Otherwise, you should cut off a few extra centimeters so that the pattern matches. When finished, put the trim strips back in place and release the sealed holes.

  • Open all openings, switches, and sockets that have been glued with wallpaper. You can do this with plastic coated scissors.
  • Hang a liner perpendicular the first piece of paper, and work, starting from the ceiling, moving down to the floor. This technique will help to eliminate the possibility of overlapping paper on top of each other in the seam area.
  • Technically, there are no wall coverings that are specifically designed for wood paneling. However, there is a thing called "liner" that will help in this situation. It is a thick felt-like product that is packaged in rolls, like most wall coverings. It is, in most cases, white or cream in color. Note that the more flaws on the panel, the thicker the liner should be. Often it needs to be ordered in advance, as most sellers of facing materials will not keep the liner in stock - especially an ultra-dense liner for panels. After using the liner, you can successfully stick any wall covering.
  • The liners are not pre-glued, so you will need regular or ultra-strong fixing glue. I recommend using a paint roller to apply glue to the liner. When you unwind a few centimeters of the liner, you will notice its natural ability to twist on its own. From that moment it doesn’t matter where to apply the adhesive - “front” or “back”, but simply lubricate the side in which it is twisted. The liner does not require "waiting", so you can glue it on the wall immediately after applying the glue. And pre-glued liners are better suited to hide the minor imperfections of the walls.
  • After sticking the liner, give it 24 hours to dry. Then prime the liner with a high quality primer such as Shieldz Primer. Do not miss this step, because the liner will absorb the glue, and the primer will provide good bonding of the liner and the wall covering. Let the primer dry for 24 hours. Then glue the wallpaper, as you usually do.

What do you need

  • Primer
  • Paint roller
  • Scissors
  • Sharp knife
  • Dry brush or towel
  • A good cup of coffee to prevent dehydration during work
  • Screwdriver to remove switches and sockets
  • Crowbar to remove the skirting board
  • A small hammer to put the skirting board in place
  • An excellent work surface for cutting and preparing wallpaper will come from an inexpensive door, which can be purchased at shopping centers. Even if you have little time, a good work surface will help you cope with work faster. They are usually about 80 cm wide and 215 cm high. These doors are very light. You can use the goats for convenience, just throw a soft cover on them to avoid scratches.
  • It is difficult to cut off an even piece of coating without using any auxiliary means. Therefore, I use a metal ruler with a length of 120 cm. This perfectly helps to smoothly cut the coating.
  • Disposable blades are great for slicing. They are very sharp and inexpensive. Although there are special holders, you can simply hold the blade in your hand. Buy a 100-pack and use one per roll. Never cut the coating. This is a sure sign that the blade has become dull. Why spoil a whole sheet of coating, saving 50 cents per blade? This is one of the beginners' biggest mistakes - not to use a sharp blade.
  • A 30-cm brush for smoothing wallpaper - usually with 1.5 cm long bristles.
  • 15 cm folding knife - use it to trim the wall covering near the floor, ceiling, or trim for a smooth cut.

In our century, non-standard solutions in the decoration of an apartment are especially appreciated. This can be a bulk floor with a 3D image, and a suspended ceiling, as if floating in the air, and, of course, a hidden door.
