A true Muslim believer is distinguished by a strong down-to-earth faith that gives internal and external forces to him and to those around him. Following a few simple steps, you will be on the right track and you can become a true Muslim and love God.

  1. 1 First, acknowledge that Almighty Allah exists and that his attributes are beyond our imagination. He is capable of anything. Faith in Allah, his knowledge, is strictly described in the Qur'an and the Sunnah and is the basis. Secondly, acknowledge that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the last in a long series of prophets, beginning with such prophets as Adam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and continuing with such prominent figures as the prophet Noah (Noah) (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) (peace and blessings be upon him), the prophet Musa (Moses) (peace and blessings be upon him) and others. All of them recognize that the holy Quran is the last and true word of Allah.
  2. 2 Pray sincerely. Affirm that Allah is getting closer to you with His knowledge. Always pray on time, never put off. Never do those things that prevent you from completing tasks of much greater importance. Nothing can be more important than obeying what Allah asks you. For example, even while working or studying, stop everything you do and go to the nearest mosque to pray. If someone asks you where you are going, say that you are fulfilling the call of Allah to prayer.
  3. 3 Pray in the middle of the night. Pray when most of the people around you are fast asleep. The name of the worshiper is Tahayuyud. However, to perform this special voluntary prayer, you first need to sleep a little, even a very short time. Night is the most effective time to pray.
  4. 4 Say his name every time. Also known as Zikr in Islamic nomenclature (terminology), the spoken name of Allah will ultimately make you a strong Muslim, because you will constantly be reminded that he has done good for you and for all of humanity.
  5. 5 Be thankful for everything that you have, and be spiritual mentally or physically. The more merciful you are, the more you will realize how blessed you have been. And by doing this, the will of Allah will become stronger for you, because you will believe that Allah is omnipresent.
  6. 6 Protect your chastity. You should know that adultery is a sinful act, and thus you should always avoid it. This applies to both men and women. Men and women should not wear tight or tight clothing, and both should always lower their eyes and behave modestly.
  7. 7 Keep your promises. If you feel that you cannot control something, just warn about it as soon as you can. Observance of oaths promises, in the end, to make you a reliable and kind person.
  8. 8 Respect the opinions of others. There are no opinions that can be "bad" or "stupid." You must treat them like treasures, or learn how to extract gems from them. Without an opinion, nothing will ever turn out better. If you do not like the idea, do not implement it right now; instead, add something to improve it.
  9. 9 Fast only for good reason. DO NOT fast only because you want to impress others, or because you want to feel superior to the popularity that you will have when you hone your knowledge. Fast with the intention of only glorifying Allah, and receive a reward for this. In addition, fast because you can fulfill your prayers correctly and efficiently, and you must be responsible for your health. However, fasting is designed to be among those who do not have privileges such as food and water. Fast twice a week, preferably on Mondays and Thursdays. Fast on the month of Ramadan, as well as on the day of Arafah, which is located on 9 Zulkhidjan. Allah will forgive all the sins that you did during the one year before and after, so you must fast on Arafah day.
  10. 10 Never lie. It should be emphasized again. Allah hates when his partisans lie to others. Your attitude will have a direct impact on your strengths. People will look at you with respect if you are honest and loyal to everything you say. If a lie will actually serve as a cover for another's shame or avoid disaster for all, a lie is unacceptable. For example, if your friend stole money from your parents, you should not tell others that your friend once stole this money.
  11. 11 Be kind to your loved ones, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The best of you is the one who is the best for your family." Accordingly, be affectionate with them, always support your family.
  12. 12 Fight for goodwill. Donate your free time and visit a mosque if there is a lecture. Hand out your property to those who need it more than you. In other words, always give alms. The person receiving alms from you will be grateful that you have helped him in his daily life. Remember, the one who gives is better (in matters of giving alms) than the one who receives.
  13. 13 Find happiness in everything. Be gentle and warm-hearted not only with your parents, but also with your relatives, friends, and even the flora and fauna around you. Always protect your surroundings. Never be aggressive towards animals. You can always protect the environment by disposing of trash and using public transport correctly.
  14. 14 Be kind to your parents. They work very hard to support the life of their family, including providing food and other things. Your mother has made great efforts to bring you into this world. What did you do to thank her? They brought joy to your life, bought you gifts. Did you admit it and appreciate them? Do everything that they expect from you, and you will certainly look good in the eyes of Allah.
  15. 15 Do not lament over the death of a loved one. Know that Allah did so because he loves his loved ones, even more than you. Recognize that death is a phase of peace for your loved ones from all the troubles in this world.
  16. 16 Do not waste time on useless things. Time is a blessing; make sure you always use it fruitfully.
  17. 17 Read a lot of the Quran. Ponder the meaning of each sentence (Ayat) in the Qur'an. Discuss this with your friends and draw your own conclusions. When you find that you cannot understand the main meaning of a sentence, look at the “Quran Explanations” or “Tafsir” section of the book of great unearthly creators or turn to a knowledgeable person. He will strengthen your Iman. This will keep the soul clean. You will receive a “zavab” for each letter you uttered. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two hours of deliberation of the Qur'an is better than a hundred years of prayer."
  18. 18 Try to search for knowledge as much as possible, even if it is in the hands of your opponent. However, remember that it is best to get knowledge from reliable Muslim sources, and not from some websites and books that misinform people about Islam.
  19. 19 Always think correctly. Never let evil ideas come to your mind.
  20. 20 Keep your body, clothing, household utensils, and everything you have clean. Often use perfumes and dress in warm, modest and comfortable clothes.
  21. 21 Always help the poor and orphans in every way possible. Feed them, give them some money, etc. They have a lot to do (zavab).
  22. 22 Repent if you have ever committed a sin. Allah will forgive you, then try not to repeat the same sins again. After all, he is the one you should meet after death, so obey his law and he must give you paradise.
  23. 23 To be a good Muslim, you must believe what the Qur'an says and the Hadith, as the Qur'an says, “Obey Allah and Obey the Messenger.” It is wrong to neglect the faith in the hadith, but you should always check to make sure they are correct, or take them from a reliable source, like Sahih Bukhari, or Muslim sources (in two books of hadith) (find out if the hadith is genuine or not).
  24. 24 Choose your sources wisely. Do not read a lot on the Internet and check what you read - that it is a fact, not an opinion. Islam is the connection between you and God, and this relationship is holy. You must not let anyone disturb them. It is very likely that people will disagree with you, so do not let them influence their own point of view.
  • You should not waste food and water because you must be grateful for what you have.
  • 5 daily prayers in Islam are required. The more you keep these daily prayers, the more you will turn to Islam and become a better Muslim.
  • Do not miss even the tiniest kind ones.
  • If you have previously committed a sin, always ask for forgiveness and try not to repeat it, Allah is all-forgiving.
  • Treat others the way you would like them to treat you.
  • Every day read the Quran with translation. Even if it's just a few lines.
  • Do a dua to Allah all the time.
  • Respect your parents every day spent with them as a blessing. Remember, when it is already too late, then you will not return those years ago.
  • If you did something wrong right away, immediately ask for forgiveness (tawbah) from Allah. He is merciful, and this means that you should never refuse to return to forgiveness.
  • Do not be rude to unbelievers, always remember that Allah watches over your actions.
  • Give all your trust to Allah, and He will show you the best way!
  • When you pray to Allah just keep the faith that your prayer is answered.
  • Seek the instructions of Allah whenever you feel that you are confused.
  • Understand that you will not live forever and one day you will die, so make sure that your actions will help you gain access to the sky.
  • Take a bath before each prayer if you are not in a bath state. On Fridays, good perfumery is recommended.
  • Seek knowledge in Islam. Starting with your local community and ending with lectures, books and articles on the Internet, of which there are many. You can also go to the local mosque and mingle with other Muslims. It is good to have more Muslim friends than non-Muslims.
  • If you have committed a great sin, do not be disappointed, because Allah forgives all sins.
  • If you are a Muslim convert, study basic Islamic teachings gradually in order to avoid misunderstandings.

Warnings

  • Be careful with abnormal teachings that do not really provide the correct Islamic knowledge. Thus, it is very important to receive knowledge from recognized scholars, both present and past years, in order to expand your knowledge it is better to use strong thorough knowledge than the teachings of the 22-year-old self-proclaimed sheikh, who began to pray only one month ago.
  • Do not masturbate and do not commit adultery. Allah's trust is the best for you, no matter how difficult it may seem to resist temptations. Masturbation can lead you to develop many bad habits, such as dishonesty, getting into trouble, and even adultery. Seriously, there are many other things that are more worthy of your attention. Allah says in the Qur'an: “Stay away from adultery (“ Zina ”). This is a very bad sin! Only legitimate sex between husband and wife in the framework of "nicknames" (Islamic marriage).
  • Do not drink alcohol. The use of alcohol is also prohibited in Islam, like all alcoholic drinks. It is forbidden even to taste a sip of alcohol or another intoxicating substance.
  • Recognize how important it is to use only Halal food (foods, mainly meat, which are prepared in accordance with Islamic rites). Eating foods such as pork or alcohol is prohibited in Islam.
  • Learn other languages of the Muslim world. The main languages of the Muslim world are Arabic, Indonesian / Malay, Farsi and Urdu. There are a huge number of incredibly interesting works written in both Arabic and Malay. Persian is the fundamental source for all Shiites (Shi-a). More and more Muslims are studying other languages in order to easily get to the knowledge that was created in other parts of the world.
  • Do not smoke. This is Haram, because you can kill yourself with cigarettes, and this ban is the basis in choosing Haram products (everything that you intentionally damage or damage your body is considered forbidden).
  • Do not commit suicide under any circumstances. You will never be forgiven by Allah. Again, refrain from wanting to harm yourself by doing things that can destroy you emotionally or physically.

Try and comply with all the requirements of Islam

The more you train, the more you become a real Muslim, better and cleaner than your soul. You must understand that the only goal is Islam, which will help you stay at peace with yourself and make you a happier person. Do not complicate anything. If it is difficult, just think it over. Take a step back and look at the big picture, asking yourself the question: “Why did God ask me to do something like this?” Allah blessed you with reason and conscience and wishes you to use them in your own judgments. And never, never, never (many times never!) Do not give up!

Rejection of Past Faith

Before accepting Islam, it is necessary to abandon the old faith. Although all world religions (Buddhism, Islam, Christianity) preach the principles of goodness and respect, the transition to the new faith is negatively perceived by most followers of your previous religion. The very procedure of “renunciation” in the form in which it is represented in many religions does not exist in Islam. You will not be forced to renounce Jesus if you are a follower of Catholicism or Orthodoxy. Moreover, Islam recognizes Christ as a prophet under the name "Isa."

Rite of passage

The Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims, and according to the Qur'an, all who wish to recognize Allah can become Muslims. There are many mosques in Moscow, and you need to visit an Islamic temple to accept religion.

One of the main mosques of the capital is the Historical Mosque. It is located at: st. 28 Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street. The Bolshaya Cathedral Mosque is also known - one of the oldest in Russia (under reconstruction). In total, there are more than 300 mosques in Moscow; you can find faith in any Islamic church.

Traditions, Holidays

Muslims are respected in Russia, in our country there are not only many mosques, but there are even regions with a predominant Muslim religion. This is Tatarstan, Dagestan, the Chechen Republic. Every faithful Muslim seeks to make a pilgrimage to the main Islamic shrine - the black stone "Kaaba" in Mecca.

In Moscow, there are many places to meet Islamic holidays. The festival of Kurban Bayram is of particular importance to the followers of Islam. For this holiday, you need to make a sacrifice by slaughtering a ram, bought without bargaining, with honestly earned money. At one time, the holding of "Kurban-Bayram" in Moscow faced serious difficulties - the sacrifice was performed in unsuitable places for this. Today this problem has been resolved by the Council of Muftis (Islamic priest) of Russia: there are special Muslim meat-slaughterhouses where sacrifices must be performed.

Islam in everyday life

“Converts” can be difficult to master the everyday foundations of Islam. Firstly, it is necessary to observe a fivefold bath every day. The longest fasting, the month of Ramadan, is also difficult. You can eat during Ramadan only at sunrise.

Halal is a special Muslim food. The first store selling food for Muslims in Russia was the Bahetle supermarket in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Recently, Bahetle also opened in Moscow.

Love for the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam).

With the onset of spring, we begin to feel the fragrance of flowers, nature comes to life, and each of us experiences feelings that cannot be expressed in words.

Mumin, a true believer in Allah and the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), experiences a more vivid feeling when the month of Rabbi-ul-Avval comes. For him, spring comes precisely in this month. With the approach of the month of Rabbi-ul-Avval in people who love the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallyam), these feelings become aggravated, they reach a certain height, and such a special connection of times occurs.

A person who has a love for the Prophet in his heart (sallallaah alayhi vasallam) cannot express these feelings in words. This very feeling is a sign of faith in the Almighty. This is that particle of primordial purity from which He created each of us, for everyone was born in primordial purity, the purity of iman.

And before a person begins to realize the prophecy of the Messenger (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) and the existence of the Creator - in his soul, these very feelings are born in his heart. Ибо любовь к Посланнику (салляллаху аляйхи васаллям) является составляющей частью веры мумина. Веровать в Аллаха с пустым сердцем, в котором нет любви к Его Посланнику (салляллаху аляйхи васаллям) - невозможно.

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) in the hadith known to us says: "None of you will believe in the true way until they love me more than your property, more than your children, more than yourself." He (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam) said this not out of arrogance - may Allah save us from such a thought! - He said this in order to bring to us the dictates of the Most High.

And the love of the Messenger (Sallallah alaikhi Vasallam), just the same, is the command of the Almighty. And each of us is obliged to look into our hearts: is there love for the Messenger of Allah (sallallah alaikhi wasallam) in him? If he feels that this feeling is in his heart, he can be calm, for he has proved to himself that in him there is a sign of faith in the Most High.

When the day comes, on which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallyam) was born, the best of the creation of the Almighty, this feeling that is in each of us is awakened again. It makes you know more about yourself. This is what happens with true Muslims when the month of Rabbi-ul-Avval comes. This feeling is the very love for the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi vasallam). And it is precisely this love for the Messenger of Allah (sallallah alayhi vasallam) and faith in the Almighty that are the only things that can make us happy both in this and in the Eternal World.

Hypocrites and true Muslims.

I would also like to draw attention to the widespread false conviction that has developed among some people who insist that love for the Messenger of Allah (sallallah alayhi Vasallam) is just following his (sallallah alayhi Vasallam) dictates and prohibitions, as well as the Sunnah. They also argue that one should not have any feelings for the Messenger of Allah (Sallallah alayhi Vasallam). This is a very false statement! Because, if that were the case, then there would be no difference between the munafics (hypocrites) and the mummies (sincerely believers). This simple “following” is the only thing that separates the hypocrite from the rest of the Muslims.

The hypocrites also during the time of the Prophet (sallallahu alaikhi vasallam) observed what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) obeyed, and were wary of what he forbade. They also prayed and visited the Majlis of the Prophet (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam), were close to their companions - but, despite this, they remained ... hypocrites.

Outwardly, it is impossible to distinguish a hypocrite from a sincere believer. Sincerely believing in Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) is distinguished only by love. It is this love for the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) that pushes a truly believing person to follow him (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), to observe the decrees and prohibitions of the Almighty.

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) was created by the Almighty with the best human qualities, and it is simply impossible not to love him. Even those people who have not seen the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), but have heard about his wonderful qualities, his behavior, lifestyle, have great love for him.

And it is this love that prompts us to follow the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam). It is this love that pushes us to commit good deeds corresponding to the Sunna of the Messenger of Allah (sallallah alaikhi vasallam), his instructions, his decrees, his prohibitions.

The case of Habib ibn Adi.

And therefore, each of us must delve into the soul, find this same love, see: is it even there? Love similar to that possessed by the companions of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam). Take, for example, the case when the Companion of the Prophet (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam) Habib ibn Adi was pinned by a pagan and was going to execute him - in revenge for the killed pagans at the Battle of Badr. These pagans did not understand what love is for the Messenger of Allah (sallallah alaikhi wasallah), they were not aware of the feelings possessed by the companions. And they turn to this associate with the words: “Would you like to be at home now and enjoy your family, and this Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi Vasallam), because of which you got here, would be here in your place?” Habib ibnu Adi replies: “No, I would not want this. "I also would not want to be with my family when the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam) was pricked with at least one thorn, even in this I would not want to exchange with the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)!” So answered the associate, whom they were going to cut into pieces.

Hearing this answer, they were amazed by the love that the companions had for the Prophet Muhammad (sallallah alaikhi wasallam) and admitted that they had not yet seen a man whom they would venerate and love as much as the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayahi wasallam). And truly, the whole world recognized that there was no more beloved by his followers a man, like the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi vasallam).

They love the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) although they have not seen him.

Of course, when we give examples of these associates today, you may ask: but how can one fall in love with the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) as his companions fell in love with him? After all, they are distinguished from us by the fact that they saw the living Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallyam). Yes, there is some truth. Of course, they saw and were next to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), and how they fell in love - so falling in love with the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) is impossible. But this is not true. Yes, the Companions are those people who saw the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alyaihi Vasallam) in the morning and in the evening, were constantly with him. But after all, during the time of the Prophet (sallallahu alaikhi wasallam) there were also such mummies who did not see the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi Vasallam), but loved him no less than those who saw him.

Do you know that separation from a loved one provokes more love for him, makes you love him more? And so we can love the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) as his companions loved him. But we need to strive for this love. For the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) said about the mummies that will appear in his ummah later and which will love him more than those who saw him. Praise be to Allah - there are such mummies! And each of us should strive for this.

If someone says that he cannot, his actions interfere with him, his environment interferes, then there is a better way to do this - this is to glorify the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) more. A person who constantly reads salavat will certainly fall in love with the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam).

Indeed, Allah himself in the Qur'an says: “Verily, Allah and His angels glorify the Prophet. O believers! You also bless the Prophet and salute him diligently. ” This is the direct command of the Almighty. The blessing of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) is the best way to love him. The blessing words “Allahumma sally‘ ala sayyidina Muhammadin wa ва ala ali sayyidina Muhammadin wa salim ”- or simply“ Allahumma sally ‘ala Muhammad” - these are very great words, very compelling words for which the Almighty himself blesses those who pronounce them ten times. We send a blessing to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once - Allah sends us ten times as much !!

How to get rid of problems?

The blessing of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) is also a means of getting rid of sorrows and troubles. This is said in the hadiths, this is known from the life of those mummies who fell in love with the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallyam). You are sad, grief, distraction fell on you, do not know what to do? - so bless the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) and this will help you! Are you experiencing deprivation, failure in food, in deeds? - read Salavat in honor of the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alyayhi Vasallam) more and you will see: this will help you!

It is transmitted from the imams of Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) woke up after a quarter of the night and said: "Remember Allah, remember Allah, the Judgment Hour is coming, death is coming." And one of the companions asks: “O Messenger of Allah, I read a lot of salavat, how much can I do this?” That is, instead of commemorating Allah, this companion blesses the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi vasallam). Then the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alyayhi Vasallam) answers him: "As much as you want!" Then this companion said: “And if until the third night I will glorify you, O Messenger of Allah?” “This is good for you!”, The Messenger of Allah answers to him (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), “You can bless even until one-third of the night, as much as you want, you can bless.” And then this companion said: “O Messenger of Allah, then I will bless you all the time, and after performing the obligatory prayers, and all my free time!” - and the Prophet (sallallahu alaikhi vasallam) did not object in this case. Why so? But because when we read the salavat in honor of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), we certainly remember the Almighty himself, who sent down this messenger (sallallahu alayhi vasallam) - and there is no limit to this ibadat. This is one of the best worship of Allah. This is the best remembrance of the Almighty.

Therefore, we should often bless the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi vasallam), using special cases for this - the night of Friday or Friday, and, of course, the month of Rabbi-ul-Avval, in which we most remember the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi Vasallam). On such days, the Almighty increases the reward for our worship - and this should be used by blessing our Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi vasallam).
