Skyrim was born in 2011, has since received a lot of official and unofficial additions, including hundreds of quests, dozens of enemies and thousands of items. Such a huge work, done both by Bethesda developers and fans from the Internet, simply does not make it possible to understand all the possibilities instantly, especially if a beginner who is not familiar with the previous games in the series plays. Our guides will help you understand the basics, deal with character development systems, crafts and quests.

What guides for this game do we have?

Firstly Skyrim game guides help you find and install the game itself, determine the optimal gameplay and graphics settings, overclock your computer and stabilize FPS. Simply put, we will help you play with the optimal ratio of quality and performance - without lags, crashes and other annoying mistakes. If the game does not start at you, it hangs in special places of passage or saving has stopped working, then here you will find ways to solve these problems. In addition, we will help newcomers to the world of Tamriel to get comfortable in the battle system, in the work of quests, and even in the mechanics of crafts: from alchemy to blacksmithing. The complex system of character development is actually not as scary as it seems at first glance. We will teach you what skills and skills a magician, warrior or assassin will need, and also tell you about the fundamental differences in these styles of play. In addition to this, we also have a small mod base for Skyrim.

Cities and regions of Skyrim.

  • Solitude (Haafingar),
  • Markart (The Limit),
  • Riften (Rift),
  • Falkrit (Falkrit),
  • Morphal (Hyalmark),
  • Whiterun (Whiterun),
  • Dunstar (White Beach),
  • Winterhold (Winterhold),
  • Windhelm (Eastmark),

Plus a few additional locations. Such as:

Sovngard, a kind of Valhalla of the Nords, the Black Limit, Cairn of souls and, in fact, the good old Morrowind. In which several different races live.

Races of Skyrim.

  • Altmers
  • Argonians
  • Bosmer
  • Breton people
  • Dunmer,
  • Imperials,
  • Hajits,
  • Nords
  • Orcs
  • Redguards
  • Elves - Falmers.

In the course of the plot of the game, you can also become a werewolf, a vampire and even a dragon (only using the mod)

Each area is managed by its own jarl and several of his assistants, Tans, managers, and the like, who you just need to like if you want to buy a house or acquire land for construction in a particular area.

Skyrim Real Estate

There are only five houses in Skyrim:

  • House of Warm Winds in Whiterun,
  • Tall Spire in Solitude,
  • Hyerim in Windhelm,
  • Vlindrell Hall in Markarth,
  • Honey cake in Riften.

In addition, in Skyrim you can buy land for the construction of their own estates, but, unfortunately, in only three areas:

An estate, unlike a finished house, after buying land, you will have to build and furnish it yourself. Everything from the foundation to the last nail.

Apart from yourself, you can put up to two foster children and even a wife (husband) in your own home. Even gay marriage is permitted.

On the estate, you can additionally hire a servant: a steward, huscarl and a bard.

Words of power

In total, in the game you can learn a certain number of words of power, or, as they are also called, screams, more precisely - twenty plus four more screams when connecting DLS. Some of them learn during the passage of quests, others have to be searched all over Skyrim. But we will simplify your task a bit by saying that there are words of power in just two types of locations, - these are the Nordic ruins and the lair of the dragons.

List of power words,

  1. ruthless power
  2. etherealness
  3. Challenge Durnevira,
  4. exhaustion of vital energy,
  5. thunder call
  6. harmony of kin
  7. voice cast
  8. thunder call
  9. dragonfly
  10. friendship with beasts
  11. time dilation
  12. the call of the dragon
  13. call of valor
  14. fright
  15. ice form
  16. frosty breath
  17. fire breath
  18. soul break
  19. disarmament,
  20. death sentence
  21. rapid jerk
  22. clear sky,
  23. whisper of aura
  24. elemental rage.

Little secret: if you shout in cities and settlements without harming anyone, you can, unexpectedly for you, wait for the messenger with a “letter from a friend”, indicating the next place of power.

Masks of dragon priests.

There are nine dragon masks in total, but with the addition of The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn, the number of masks increases to twelve.

Having collected eight main masks and wearing a wooden mask located in the Bromunar sanctuary in Labyrinthian, you can go back to the past, where the most powerful mask, the ninth mask of dragon priests, is Konarik. To get it, you will need to place eight other masks that you previously found on a pedestal. After that, you can pick up the masks from the stand, but if you do not do this in the past, they simply simply disappear and you return only with the Konarik mask.

List of Dragon Priest Masks

  • Wooden mask - With the help of the remaining eight collected masks, it transfers to the past. Itself does not give anything. (the sanctuary of Bromunar in Labyrinthian. Present).
  • Wokun. Spells of change, witchcraft, and illusion consume 20% less magic. (Ruins of the high gate).
  • Hevnorak. With its help you are not threatened with illness and poisoning. (Waltum).
  • Ragot. By as much as seventy units will increase the supply of strength. (Forelhost).
  • Nakrin. Spells of restoration and destruction consume 20% less magic, plus gives an additional 50 units of magic stock. (Skuldafn).
  • Otar. Resistance to electricity, fire and cold is increased by 30%. (Ragnwald).
  • Wolsung. Gives water breath, increases carrying capacity by 20 units, and makes prices by as much as 20% more profitable. (Volskigge).
  • Morocco. Restores magic 100% faster. (Labyrinthian).
  • Crossis. Increases alchemy, hacking and shooting by 20%. (Two-headed peak).
  • Konarik. When the health level is dangerously low, the mask not only gives a chance to heal the wearer, but also cause damage to nearby enemies. In addition, she rarely, but calls for the help of a ghostly dragon priest. (the sanctuary of Bromunar in Labyrinthian. Past).

Now let's move on to the masks of dragon priests from the expansion:

  • Azidal. Fire damage is increased by 25%, and fire resistance is increased by 50 points. (Barrow Kolbjorn).
  • Dukan. Adds 50 units of resistance to cold and increases damage from it by 25%. (Mound of the White Range).
  • Zakrisosh. Plus 25% percent to damage from electricity and 50 units to resistance to electricity. (Mound Bloodskal).
  • Mirac. Increases the supply of magical powers. Spell power depends on your level. (Apocrypha).

By the way, you can improve your masks on a workbench, but for this you will need to develop two abilities in the skill “Blacksmithing” - this is “Daedric Armor” and “Blacksmith Wizard”.

List of Daedric Artifacts.

  • Mace MolagBala. She can be obtained by completing the quest "House of Horrors" in Markarth. Deals 25 damage to magic and stamina, and also traps souls.
  • The star of Azura. In fact, it is a great reusable soul stone. You can get it by visiting the sanctuary of Azura, and completing the quest "Black Star", giving the artifact to the priestess of Azura - Aranii.
  • Black Star. You will receive it if you pass the Black Star quest by choosing the side of the magician Nelasar. This artifact is an endless black stone of souls, and unlike its light brother, it contains only human souls.
  • Wabbajek. The most controversial artifact of all, when you use it you will never guess what will happen. He can kill corny by fire, lightning or cold, squeeze out all the life forces from the opponent, turn into anyone, from chicken to bear. You can get it when completing the quest "Crazy Mind" in the Blue Palace of Solitude.
  • Razor of Merunes. You will receive this artifact for completing the quest “Shards of Former Glory”, in order to start it you must visit the museum in Dunstar. It gives a small chance of instant killing the enemy.
  • Volendrang. You can get it for the quest "Cursed Tribe". It is a two-handed hammer capable of absorbing 50 units of the enemy’s power reserve.
  • Clavicus Vile mask. Gives an additional 10 units to the skill of eloquence, accelerates magic regeneration by 5% and makes prices more profitable by as much as 20%. You can get it by completing the quest "Dog is a friend of the Daedra", but only if you leave the dog alive.
  • Ax of sorrow. If during the quest “Dog is a friend of the Daedra”, you still decide to kill the dog, then instead of a mask you will get an ax of sorrow that can take 20 units of power from the enemy.
  • Ogma Infinium. This daedric artifact appears before us in the form of a book, opening which you can choose one of three specialties: thief (path of shadow), mage (path of magic) or warrior (path of power) and, in accordance with the chosen path, the artifact will add 5 units to each skill in this category. You can get it by completing the task "Beyond the Ordinary."
  • Rose Sanguine. Awarded for completing the quest “An Unforgettable Night,” by the Daedric Prince Sanguine. Gives an opportunity to call for help a dremora.
  • The skin of the savior. It increases resistance to poisons by 50 units, as well as resistance to magic by 15 units. You can get it by completing the quest "Call of the Moon." But only if you kill the werewolf.
  • Hirsin's ring. You will receive this artifact if, during the quest "Call of the Moon", protect the werewolf from the hunters. The ring allows you to turn into a werewolf once a day. In addition, the werewolf you saved from the hunters will become your companion.
  • The Light of Dawn. Granted by the Daedric Master Meridia for completing the quest "Dawn Dawn." Deals 10 fire damage, when killing undead, causes an explosion, though not always.
  • Spellbreaker. Creates a magic charm that absorbs up to fifty units of enemy magic. You can get it after completing the quest “The Only Cure”.
  • Ebony blade. This is not an ordinary artifact in the form of a two-handed sword, capable of absorbing the enemy’s health from 10 to 30 units. Having barely received this blade, you can improve its characteristics by killing your friends. Two kills and the absorption of health increases by 4 units, so in order to improve the blade to the maximum, you will need 10 kills of friends. You can get it after completing the quest "The door that whispers."
  • Ebony chain mail. Granted after completing the quest “Call of Boethiah.” Despite the fact that ebonite armor belongs to heavy armor, its carrier moves silently, and careless opponents who come too close receive small, 5 points, poison damage.
  • Ring of Namira. Gives the hero the opportunity to increase his health and increase the speed of his recovery by eating corpses, and also increases his supply of strength by 50 points. You can get it by completing the Taste of Death quest.
  • Skull damage. You get it after completing the Walking Nightmare quest. It allows you to steal dreams, thereby enhancing the enchantment of the staff to a certain level, that is, the damage from it will range from 20 to 50 units.
  • Skeleton key. In essence, this artifact is an eternal master key.

A small note: not all of the above artifacts are taken into account in the statistics of the character and affect the achievement. It is an ax of sorrow and a skeletal key.

How to get an immortal companion?

When you take the task “Diadera's Best Friend”, they will provide you with the companions of the talking dog Barbas, who will be with you until you complete the task. The trick is that if you do not complete the quest, Barbas will stay with you forever and never die.

How to blow the sun?

In the game Skyrim, secrets are not always harmless, you can see for yourself. If you have the Dawnguard add-on installed, then complete the Touch to Heaven quest, for completing which you will receive the ancient Auriel Arrow artifact. This weapon, combined with the improved "Elven Bow", becomes so powerful that if you shoot in the sun you will blow it up and the whole world will plunge into darkness.

How to saddle a dragon?

Many players dream of adding the ability to fly dragons to the game. But while these are just dreams, you can find secrets in Skyrim that will allow you to get on the back of a winged dinosaur.

In the southwest of the mountains of the Morning Star is the Altar of the Sky-Born, near which is located the dragon's nest. If you have a high level of stealth, sneak up to the top of the hill and jump directly onto the dragon's back. True, it is highly likely that the dragon will detect you and go on the attack.

Where to find the treasure chest?

In Skyrim, you can find a huge number of hiding places with a treasure, but there are secrets of the Skyrim game that cannot be easily found. In the middle of Downstar (between the village and the factory), a chest is hidden in the rocks. It is reliably hidden in the dark from prying eyes, but if you move the cursor, you will surely find it.

The chest contains many potions, armor, weapons, jewelry and gold.

Where can I jump from a height and stay alive?

As a rule, jumping from the highest points found in Skyrim ends in the death of your character, however, there is one place where you can jump from a great height and survive. This place is located on a waterfall south of Rorikstead between Falkrit and Markarth. Jumping from this waterfall, you will find yourself in a pool, at the exit of which you will expect the spirit of Azzadal.

If you talk to him, you will receive a new level as a bonus.

This concludes our review of the secrets of the game Skyrim and sincerely hope that their search will return your interest in the game and push you to new exploits.
